If you were thinking about visiting Milan in 2015 for the Expo, you can get a taste of this remarkable city without leaving the Bay. Before August 11th, swing by the Cannery (2801 Leavenworth) and check out the New Italian Design 2.0 Exhibition, which boasts intriguing design displays brought to the Bay by Milano’s Triennale Design Museum. On display are pieces from 100 of Italy’s most talented designers and artists!
There’s more to do in Milano, though, than visit the Expo or enjoy the fantastic design aesthetic. You can see Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous Last Supper, explore the impressive Duomo (pictured above), try the city’s legendary risotto or shop at one of the oldest malls in the world, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
