In four years, the Mind the Bridge (MTB) accelerator and startup school in San Francisco has nurtured over 2000 startups and graduated over 250 aspiring entrepreneurs with a real impact on the Italian startup scene. The startup school is also expanding into the international scene and hosting entrepreneurs from Israel, Kenya, Greece, Brazil, Kuwait and Australia.

Marco Marinucci, an ex-Googler founded the program in 2007 and created the MTB ecosystem with hard work and a keen eye for transformative technologies. The program has grown into a hands-on learning experience that includes rigorous networking and visits to Silicon Valley’s most iconic companies.

Perhaps MTB’s most important offering is an extensive network of highly engaged mentors, who advise startuppers at weekly MTB GYM sessions and provide proactive feedback. These sessions also provide an useful platform for international startup cross pollination.
Recently, Mind The Bridge completed the annual MTB Job Creator Tour which scouted the best-in-class startups of southern Italy and invited four teams to come to Silicon Valley to attend the MTB startup school. The tour attracted 450 participants in gorgeous southern Italian cities like Naples and Lecce.
Coming up is MTB’s Venture Camp 2013 Angel Investment Global Forum in Milan, where attendees benefit from practical advice from the angel investing ecosystem innovators, learn the latest trends in startup financing and more.
